Blue Lock – Chapter 39

With the score tied at 2–2, tension becomes unbearable.
Barou’s frustration peaks — his self-image is cracking. He charges in again, but this time he’s predictable.

Isagi intercepts him.

This humiliates Barou.
For the first time, the “king” is being controlled by someone else.

Nagi and Bachira then create a perfect combination play. Isagi reads the final movement and positions himself to strike.
He shoots — and the ball explodes into the net.

3–2. Victory.

The king has been dethroned.

Barou stands frozen, humiliated. He screams internally, torn between pride and despair.

Isagi walks past him and says:
“Soccer isn’t a game where one person rules. It’s a game you win with the strongest ego.”
